In view of the upcoming change of reign, the Maison du Grand-Duc has also presented the new suites of the future Grand Duke Guillaume and future Grand Duchess Stéphanie: Colonel Henri Chrisnach, former Aide-de-Camp to the Maison Grand-Ducale; Antoine Clasen, General Director of the Caves Bernard-Massard; Stéphanie Damgé, Director of Entrepreneurship at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce; Raoul Schaaf, Chairman of the Board of the National Committee for Social Defence (CNDS).
The role of the Ladies-in-Waiting and Chamberlains is primarily honorary and representative, and notably includes accompanying the Grand Ducal couple on certain outings and official receptions, including state visits and celebrations around Luxembourg's National Day. The suites are also called upon to represent the Grand Duke at certain events and may share their expertise with the Grand Ducal couple in the sectors in which they are active.
Further appointments will follow in the coming months, according to the Maison du Grand-Duc.
