On Tuesday 25 November 2025, the Luxembourg Red Cross announced the appointment of Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg as its new President.

The Assembly of the Luxembourg Red Cross has appointed Grand Duchess Stéphanie as the organisation's new President, effective from the date of her appointment by Grand-Ducal decree. She succeeds Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, who served in the role for 20 years.
