Continuing on as part of the "Rising Stars" series presented by the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), Luxembourg pianist Cathy Krier will be performing further concerts around Europe in June.
May shows in Budapest, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Cologne will be followed this month by performances at the Musikverein Wien in Austria on Friday 17, the UK's Town Hall Birmingham on Monday 20, and finally at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden in Luxembourg's neighbouring country of Germany on Sunday 26.
An alumnus of the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg, Cathy Krier was selected as a "Rising Star" for the 2015/16 season by ECHO and Philharmonie Luxembourg. This involves her performing a piece specially created for her by renowned German composer, Wolfgang Rhim, as well as appearances across Europe.
