70 employees of BNP Paribas Luxembourg have joined forces with Caritas in support of the homeless.

When winter arrives in the Grand Duchy, not everyone has the good fortune to be able to wrap up warm at home. Indeed, the winter months often mean that reception centres for homeless people far surpass their capacity. As a result, Caritas Accueil et Solidarité asbl received the authority of the Ministry of Family and Integration to establish an additional night shelters with morning and evening food distributions until 31 March 2016, as part of its 'Wanteraktioun' (Winter Action).

Employees from the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg became involved in the action in February 2016, and have spent around 900 hours assisting in the distribution of morning and evening snacks. The Group supported its employees by offering one hour of time worked for every two hours spent volunteering.
