Organisers have announced that Oekofest 2026 will take place in Pfaffenthal-Luxembourg from 11:00 to 19:00 on Sunday 20 September.
The annual environmental and community festival organised by Mouvement Ecologique Asbl and Oekozenter Pafendall combines environmental themes with food, music, family activities, workshops and guided visits.
Attendees are invited to take the opportunity to discover the idyllic area of Pfaffenthal with its authentic atmosphere and fascinating stories, enjoy live music, a wide range of activities for the whole family, short talks, guided tours as well as numerous other activities.
The event will feature stands from 24 exhibitors, offering special hands-on activities along with a wide variety of culinary delights along with flash talks, tours, exhibitions and live music.
The organisers said this year Oekofest is spread throughout Pfaffenthal, so visitors can stroll around at their leisure and always discover something new. Safety is also ensured. They noted that the best way to come to the festival is on foot, by bicycle, bus or train, as there are very few parking spaces in the area.
