The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) has announced that the Luxembourg U21 national team will face Kosovo in an international friendly match on Saturday 6 June 2026.

The match will take place at the FFK National Football Camp in Hajvalia, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00.

The friendly will take place around three and a half months before Luxembourg’s next Group C qualification match for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship away against Switzerland on 25 September 2026.

Luxembourg currently sits fifth in the group with four points from six matches, having recorded a home victory over Switzerland (2-1) and an away draw against Estonia (2-2). France leads the group with sixteen points, while Switzerland is second with fourteen points from seven matches.

According to the UEFA website, the nine group winners and the best runner-up (excluding results against sixth-placed teams) will qualify directly for the final tournament alongside co-hosts Albania and Serbia. The remaining eight runners-up will compete in play-offs for the final four qualification spots.
