On Monday 2 March 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that Luxembourg’s Mayor Lydie Polfer swore in Fabricio Costa, representative of the Greens (Déi Gréng), as a new member of the City Council, where he replaces Linda Gaasch.
During the ceremony, Fabricio Costa stated that he intends to defend the interests of the city’s residents with determination and a positive approach. He also committed himself to promoting responsible and environmentally respectful policies in the exercise of his duties, noted VdL.
