Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of diesel, heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use.
As of Thursday 9 July 2026, the price of diesel has risen by 3.2 cents to €1.642 per litre (including VAT), the cost of heating oil has risen by 3.7 cents to €1.130 per litre, and heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use have both risen by 3.2 cents to €1.247 and €1.094 per litre respectively.
The price of unleaded 95 octane petrol remains at €1.646 per litre, with unleaded 98 octane petrol stable at €1.824 per litre (including VAT).
LPG and propane prices remain at 69.1, and 72.7 cents per litre.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
