Luxembourg’s Roads and Bridges Administration has announced resurfacing works at the Cessange interchange that will result in the closure of four slip roads from the evening of Friday 10 until Saturday 11 July 2026.
The roadworks, scheduled to take place from approximately 19:00 on Friday until 23:00 on Saturday, are part of the administration's ongoing programme to improve the country's road infrastructure.
During the works, the following slip roads will be closed:

from the A4 towards Hollerich to the A6 towards Belgium;

from the A4 towards Esch-sur-Alzette to the A6 towards Belgium;

from the A6 towards Belgium to the A4 towards Hollerich;

from the A6 towards Gasperich to the A4 towards Hollerich.
Diversions will be signposted for affected motorists.
Drivers travelling on the A4 towards the A6 in the direction of Belgium will be diverted via the A6 towards Gasperich, the Gasperich interchange, the A3 towards Luxembourg City, the Gluck roundabout and the A3 towards Metz before rejoining the A6 towards Belgium.
Traffic travelling from the A6 towards Belgium to the A4 towards Hollerich will be diverted via the Helfenterbruck interchange, followed by the N34, N5 and CR230.
Motorists travelling from the A6 towards Gasperich to the A4 towards Hollerich will follow a diversion via the Gasperich interchange, the A3, the Gluck roundabout and the A3 towards Metz before returning to the A6 towards Belgium and continuing via the Helfenterbruck interchange, N34, N5 and CR230.
