Luxembourg’s Roads and Bridges Administration announced on Tuesday 1 September 2026 that from the evening of Friday 4 September to the morning of Monday 7 September it will close the A1 motorway in both directions at the Senningerberg interchange.
According to the administration, as part of the next phase of the works to redevelop the Senningerberg interchange the A1 motorway will be closed in both directions at the Senningerberg interchange from approximately 21:00 on Friday until approximately 05:00 on Monday.
Diversions will be put in place and signposted using temporary signage.
The administration has advised that road users travelling towards Luxembourg will be diverted via the Senningerberg interchange bypass, and road users travelling towards Trier will be diverted from the Senningerberg interchange via the N1, N36A and N36 before rejoining the A1.
