Like the Luxembourgish women’s team, the men’s side did not advance to Phase 2 of the European Padel Championship. National coach Enric Batalla shared his assessment of the team’s performance in an interview with Chronicle.lu.
“First of all, this was the first year that Luxembourg participated in a Euro Cup, and the team was only formed in February 2025,” said Enric Batalla. “Our objective was to compete in order to gain experience for the next two years, leading up to the next European Championship.I believe the experience has been positive, regardless of the results, because we’ve learned a lot. We played competitive matches against countries that have been involved in the sport for many years, so overall, the experience has been very valuable.”
