The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) has announced the Special Olympics Unified FLF Airdome Cup, taking place on Saturday 8 November 2025 at the FLF Airdome in Mondercange.

Organised in collaboration with Special Olympics Luxembourg, "a sports federation offering people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in adapted physical activities and competitions suited to their abilities", the event aims to highlight the importance of inclusion through sport.

According to the FLF, this event provides an “excellent opportunity for athletes with intellectual disabilities to showcase their talent and give their best.” Unified partners, people without intellectual disabilities, train and play alongside Special Olympics athletes in mixed teams. The tournament thus “concretely and positively illustrates the value of inclusion in sport.”

Ten teams will take part in this event, including seven foreign teams from France, Belgium and Germany. Matches will be held in the morning from 10:00 to 12:30 (twelve minutes per match), and the final phase will take place from 14:30 to 16:10 (20 minutes per match).
