
Action Solidarité Tiers Monde (ASTM) has announced a photo exhibition to take place between Wednesday 16 November and Friday 18 December 2016 to celebrate 20 years of partnership with the Association de Recherche et de Formation Agroécologique (ARFA) in Burkino Faso.
The vernissage of the photo exhibition entitled “ARFA- Pioneer of agro-ecology in Burkina Faso”, will take place on Wednesday 16 November 2016 from 18:00 to 19:30 in Restaurant Casa Fabiana (3 rue de Bonnevoie, L-1260). The photo exhibition will present work that the two associations have been doing in Burkina Faso and Togo in regard to agro-ecology.
Ana Luisa Teixera, director of African projects, Pol Faber, a member of the Administrative Committee and agricultural engineer, and Pala Opota, volunteer for the group “Projets Afrique” will also return from their meeting with their ASTM partners in Africa, on the the day of the exhibition’s vernissage.
ARFA, whose headquarters are in Fada N’Gourma in the east of the country, was set up in 1995 to help local producers in Africa to improve their crop yield using agroecological techniques, which aim to improve soil fertility and maintain humidity without using chemical inputs.
