On Tuesday 7 July 2026, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced the recall of the JA! brand's frozen berry mix due to the presence of the Hepatitis A virus.
The following product has been recalled from various points of sale in Luxembourg: “Beerenmischung” (berry mix), made by JA!; 750 g; barcode: 4337256908795; with best before date 15 March 2028, and lot number: L-26085.
According to ALVA, the risk level has been classified as "orange", indicating a moderate risk. Consumers who have purchased the affected product are strongly advised not to consume and to return it to the place of purchase.
The food safety authority noted that the recall was issued due to the presence of the Hepatitis A virus.
