On Tuesday 14 July 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) reported on the inauguration of the new free-expression hoarding located in the immediate vicinity of Dommeldange primary school.
According to the VdL, the hoarding, located near the future Dommeldange school and sports complex on Rue Nicolas Hein in Luxembourg-Dommeldange, consists of construction panelling covering almost 174m.
On Monday 13 July, on the occasion of the school festival, the College of the Mayor and Aldermen inaugurated the site and, supervised by professionals from I Love Graffiti and Kamellebuttek Street Art and Murals, pupils from cycles 2 to 4, as well as children attending the school childcare centre, took part in creating a collective artwork covering almost all of the length of the construction hoarding as part of artistic workshops.
At the inauguration, representatives of the VdL praised the involvement of the children, educational staff and artists who helped transform this hoarding into a true space for expression, interaction and dialogue.
The VdL noted that the project reflects its commitment to promoting young people's creativity and integrating art into public spaces.
