On Tuesday 30 June 2026, the College of the Mayor and Aldermen welcomed City of Luxembourg (VdL) staff members who achieved the best performances at the nineteenth edition of the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg.
According to VdL, the occasion recognised the women and men who completed the marathon, as well as those who recorded the fastest men's and women's times in the half marathon.
VdL added that, this year, 146 of its employees crossed the finish line. Of these, eleven took on the marathon challenge (two women and nine men), while 135 completed the half marathon (40 women and 95 men).
"As every year, the participation of the VdL's staff was also marked by a gesture of solidarity," VdL noted, adding that staff members collectively donated €1,780 to support the "AutiSport" project of the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg. Participants in the inclusive "Roll & Run" race also raised €895 for the Les Tandems de la Vue association.
