On Wednesday 21 May 2025, 4L – Luxembourg: Local, Lifestyle & Living launched the Sense Living app at The Central Kirchberg ApartHotel in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

The event, co-hosted by ChefPassport, Sense Living, LuxRelo and The Central Kirchberg, marked the official launch of the Sense Living app, a new digital concierge platform, designed for professionals relocating, on a short or long-term basis, to Luxembourg. The app is expected to allow guests of The Central Kirchberg to book premium on-demand services - including private chefs, wellness providers, babysitters, personal shoppers, concierge services and more.

Following a description and presentation of the app’s features, ChefPassport held a Thai food cooking demonstration.

Chronicle.lu spoke with Matteo Ressa, CEO and Founder of ChefPassport, Cathy Leesch from Cactus’ Marketing Department, and Sara Cantelar Coello, CEO and Founder Sense Living app, at the evening’s event.

Matteo Ressa explained how he founded ChefPassport in 2019 with the goal of connecting teams and colleagues through food experiences. The company now employs seventeen chefs from 20 countries worldwide to provide virtual team-building for remote companies. ChefPassport partners with other companies, to ensure all participants receive a box of ingredients, thereby allowing them cook together in a virtual setting. In 2023, the company partnered with supermarket chain Cactus to introduce Luxembourgish cuisine and cooking to clients. The company is continually seeking out new cuisines to add to the existing ones which include Thai, Chinese, Turkish and Italian food. Matteo Ressa explained that The Central Kirchberg will host the client and through the Sense Living app, they can book services including private chefs via ChefPassport and relocation services from LuxRelo.

Cathy Leesch noted that Cactus provides fresh, local, high quality food to ChefPassport’s immersive cooking experiences at the Cactus cooking studio.

Sara Cantelar Coello added that clients of The Central Kirchberg can avail of services through the Sense Living app from the pre-check in stage of their booking. The aim is to offer a wide range of services from wellness to professional to home basics, city experiences and events. Services include arranging airport transfers, booking parking spaces, stating personal preferences and requesting upgrades, among others. She confirmed that approximately 25 local suppliers work with the company to offer home delivery services and city experiences to guests.
