WIDE ANDCO, a social enterprise offering expertise, training and programmes in the fields of gender equality, digital skills and entrepreneurship, has announced it will host a free one-day bootcamp on Thursday 18 June 2026 in Esch-Belval.
The bootcamp, aimed at young women aged sixteen to 21 (and up to 25 depending on profile), is dedicated to entrepreneurship and pitching and will take place at the Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) and the University of Luxembourg Incubator from 09:00 to 18:00.
The organiser said the initiative will bring participants together around a practical challenge: developing, structuring and presenting a project idea in teams.
Throughout the day, participants will take part in workshops on entrepreneurship, leadership and pitching. They will work in teams to develop a project idea, supported by facilitators and mentors, before presenting their proposals in English to a jury.
The bootcamp will take place across two sites in Esch-Belval: morning sessions will be held at the Luxembourg Media and Digital Design Centre (LMDDC), while afternoon activities, including teamwork and final presentations, will take place at the University of Luxembourg Incubator.
At the end of the programme, a winning team will be selected to represent Luxembourg at the international final in Brussels, taking place from Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 September 2026. This event will bring together participants from across Europe and will include project presentations, a youth fair and visits to European institutions. All participation costs will be covered under the EmpowerHER project.
The bootcamp is part of the EmpowerHER project and is co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. It aims to strengthen young women’s entrepreneurial, communication and leadership skills through a practical, collaborative and immersive approach, and is supported by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Diversity (MEGA), Jonk Entrepreneuren, the Luxembourg Media and Digital Design Centre (LMDDC) and the University of Luxembourg Incubator.
WIDE ANDCO highlighted that the initiative contributes to efforts to encourage young women’s participation in entrepreneurship and innovation by offering accessible, practical and structured learning experiences.
