
Gujarati Samaj Luxembourg (GSL) asbl has announced it will be hosting the fourth edition of its flagship event, Navratri, on Saturday 20 September 2025 at 16:30, at the Centre Polyvalent Aspelt in Frisange.
Navratri is a Hindu festival observed in the honour of goddess Amba, where devotees offer prayers, observe a fast and celebrate by playing Garba Raas, a traditional form of folk dance from the Indian state of Gujarat. Navratri, meaning "nine nights", is one of the most popular and widely celebrated festivals across India.
Every year, in Luxembourg, more than 300 people, particularly from Gujarati community and the wider Indian diaspora, attend this event.
Registration for the event is now open, with tickets available for both members and non-members of the association. However, the organiser stress that place are limited.
Member tickets are priced at €20 for adults (aged 19 and over), €10 for children (ages 6 to 18). Children under the age of six can enter for free.
