The Luxembourg Rural Youth and Young Farmers Association (LLJ) has announced the 14th edition of the Landjugend-Power-Aktioun (Rural Youth-Power-Action) initiative will take place across seven communes in Luxembourg from Saturday 4 October to Sunday 5 October 2025.
According to the organisers, the 36-hour event will commence at 08:00 on the Saturday and will conclude at 20:00 on the Sunday and will take place in the communes of Clervaux, Diekirch, Tandel, Bech, Dippach, Goesdorf and Mersch. During the event, LLJ group members will carry out voluntary community work for the benefit of each local population and the development of rural areas in places such as playgrounds and rest areas. Each group is prepared in advance by the local authorities but the tasks assigned to each group remain secret until the start of the activity.
The technical services of the participating communes will provide support by supplying the necessary materials and tools to complete each of the projects. Each project concludes with the inauguration of the completed project in the presence of local officials and other guests.
Previous editions in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2023 were regarded as highly successful by both participants and local authorities.
