NBA Basketball School Luxembourg has announced that it would return in September 2026 with three basketball camps for young athletes at the Hall Omnisports Prince Henri in Walferdange.

The programme will run from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September 2026 and comprise a Baby Basket Camp, Mini Basket Camp and Skills Camp. Former NBA player and NCAA champion Michael Bradley will serve as Technical Director of the Skills Camp.

The Baby Basket Camp will take place on Monday 7 September and introduce children to basketball through activities focused on movement, coordination, basic basketball concepts and enjoyment of the game.

The Skills Camp will run from Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 September and focus on individual skills, decision-making, basketball fundamentals, competitive mindset and understanding of the game.

The Mini Basket Camp, scheduled for Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September, will combine basketball fundamentals with teamwork and the development of technical and motor skills for younger players.

All three camps will follow the "NBA WAY", the official methodology used by NBA Basketball School programmes internationally. The approach combines technical development with decision-making, physical development, teamwork, discipline, leadership and respect, with training adapted to participants' ages and development levels.

Michael Bradley, who will lead the Skills Camp, was selected by the Toronto Raptors with the seventeenth overall pick in the first round of the 2001 NBA Draft. During his NBA career, he also represented the Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, Sacramento Kings and Philadelphia 76ers.

Before joining the NBA, Michael Bradley was part of the University of Kentucky team that won the NCAA National Championship in 1998. He later played for Villanova University and earned All-America and All-Big East recognition in 2001. His professional career also took him to Spain, Germany and Lithuania, including spells with ALBA Berlin and Žalgiris Kaunas.

Michael Bradley has since worked in player development and with NBA Basketball School programmes in several countries.

Celso Casinha will return to Luxembourg as Technical Director of the Mini Basket and Baby Basket camps, following his involvement in the first NBA Basketball School Luxembourg event. A specialist in Mini Basket and youth player development, Celso Casinha is FIBA-certified through the European Mini Basketball Coaching Course.

According to the organisers, the programme aims to complement the work of clubs, schools and sports organisations in Luxembourg by giving young athletes access to international coaching expertise and the NBA Basketball School development methodology.

Registration for all three camps is now open, with places limited.
