Ancorius Announces Acquisition of Initium in Luxembourg

On Thursday 16 April 2026, Ancorius Group, a Luxembourg-based provider of corporate and fund services, announced its acquisition of Initium Group, a local provider of corporate services.

According to Ancorius, the acquisition reinforces its expertise in corporate services with complementary teams and clients, while further strengthening its speciality tax advisory practice.

"This acquisition is fully aligned with our long-term vision," said Johan van den Berg, Group CEO of Ancorius. "We are building a strong and sustainable platform in Luxembourg by bringing together high-quality teams who share our values of client service, expertise and long-term relationships."

Following its acquisition in 2025 by AnaCap, Ancorius said it is pursuing a strategy of targeted acquisitions and integrations to build a long-term professional services platform that combines local expertise with scale, governance and investment capacity.

"Since our investment, we’ve worked towards a clear growth objective combining carefully selected M&A bolt-on opportunities and organic growth initiatives, to drive value creation for all stakeholders. This is the first of hopefully several acquisitions you will hear about from Ancorius," explained Steven Gringoire, Managing Director at AnaCap.

Following the transaction, Initium will gradually rebrand and eventually operate as part of the Ancorius Group. "Our clients will continue to work with their existing teams and contacts, ensuring continuity of service, while benefiting over time from the broader resources, technology and infrastructure of the Ancorius platform. At the same time, our team will benefit from new career evolution opportunities," said Stéphane Allart, Managing Partner at Initium, who, following the acquisition, will join the Ancorius leadership team.

The transaction is part of a broader growth strategy following the rebrand of Fiduciaire Jean-Marc Faber to Ancorius in 2025 and the partnership with AnaCap, which marked a new phase of development focused on growth, digitalisation and service expansion.
