The Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg (OCL - Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra) has announced “Mains de maîtres” (“Masters’ Hands”), taking place on Saturday 26 September 2026 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The concert will begin at 19:30 in the Salle de Musique de Chambre and will feature Mariano Chiacchiarini as conductor and Joseph Moog on piano.
According to the OCL, the programme explores musical transmission and the influence of masters on later generations of composers. The concert will focus on artistic “filiation” across the ages, notably through the links between Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, while also highlighting Francis Poulenc’s Sinfonietta, which the organisers described as strongly inspired by Haydn’s style.
The OCL noted that the programme is intended to trace the “marks left by mentors” through orchestration, style and compositional gesture, while showing how younger composers developed their own musical voices.
This concert is set to open the OCL’s new season, with Mariano Chiacchiarini and Joseph Moog leading what the organisers described as a musical journey “beyond the boundaries of time”.
Tickets cost €35 at the standard rate and €15 for those under 27. Admission is free for children aged twelve and under, while Kulturpass tickets cost €1.50.
