Shortly after 11:00 on Monday 6 October 2025, the CFL announced that trains on the Kautenbach–Wiltz line were disrupted due to the discovery of a Second World War bomb near Merkholtz.
Update: The CFL has announced that services are expected to resume from around 14:00 but noted that some delays and cancellations may still occur as operations return to normal.
The CFL has implimented a replacement bus service to provide a direct connection between Kautenbach and Wiltz in both directions.
