The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA, Administration luxembourgeoise vétérinaire et alimentaire) has issued a recall notice for camembert cheese sold under the Everyday brand (250g; article no: 2910; best before date 13 August 2025; sold by Colruyt between 26 June and 12 August).

The L2 recall notification urges consumers to be careful (medium risk / danger), regarding the orange awareness level, due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

The warning added "it cannot be ruled out that other products may be affected and that products linked to the cases of listeriosis reported in France may be present on the Luxembourg market. If this recall is updated or additional products are affected in Luxembourg, information will be published on the portal www.securite-alimentaire.lu as well as on the LU-Alert channels (www.lu-alert.lu and the LU-Alert app). The recall concerns cheeses produced by Chavegrand (FR 23.117.001 CE) before 23 June 2025, which can be viewed at: https://rappel.conso.gouv.fr/".
