On Thursday 2 April 2026, Luxair provided an update on ongoing strike action affecting ground handling services in Spain.
Further to its Travel Notice of Thursday 26 March 2026, the airline confirmed that strike action remains scheduled on selected days throughout the Easter holiday period and may cause delays on flights operating to and from Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), Málaga and Valencia.
Flights to other Luxair destinations in Spain are not expected to be affected. The airline will communicate any changes directly to affected Luxair and LuxairTours customers through the contact details provided in their booking.
The airline advised passengers travelling through the affected airports in Spain to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure, as longer waiting times are expected.
