Tango has announced their 2015 financial results which show that the growth in the first nine months of the year was reinforced in the fourth quarter, allowing the telecoms company to achieve a turnover of €129.9 million for 2015, corresponding to a growth of 11.1% compared to 2014.

The company also saw an increase in its customer portfolio with 5,000 additional customers, and its average revenue per user (ARPU) increased by 5.6% compared to 2014.

Its mobile customer base is now 288,000 customers, an increase of 1.7% over one year. Its Internet customer base rose by 14.5% compared to 2014. The 2015 figures confirm Tango's strategy to strengthen its triple-play offer including Internet and fixed and mobile telephony. And its TV customer base rose by 45.7% compared to 2014. The strong increase recorded since the beginning of the year was confirmed in the final quarter.

Key figures for the fourth quarter of 2015

In the fourth quarter of 2015, Tango recorded a turnover of €35.1 million, corresponding to a 13.8% increase year-on-year.

This steady growth since the start of the year was mainly driven by mobile subscription revenues, in particular subscriptions for cross-border workers. The success of the Internet and TV offers also contributed to this positive trend, especially after the launch of the new TV offers last April. Another trend set in motion in the beginning of the year was the rise in subscription sales for smartphones, which helped to increase the ARPU by 6.3% in the fourth quarter compared to the same quarter in 2014.

Jean-François Willame, Tango Managing Director, stated "The sales momentum at the end of the year reinforced the good results of the first three quarters and allowed us to end the year with double-digit growth. The results were possible thanks not only to the quality and transparency of our products but also to our continuous monitoring of the market and constant adaptation of our offers, producing the best for our customers and offering them genuine added value. This is what was done, for example, for Tango TV with the launch of new channels at no extra charge, and for the new smartphone subscriptions, increasingly adapted to the communication needs of our customers. 2016 will no doubt be marked by the new roaming regulations and, here too, we are working on clear and transparent offers for our customers."
