Cross-border wine tourism initiative Via mosel’ has announced that from Saturday 18 to Sunday 19 April 2026 it will host one of the largest oeno-architectural events in the Greater Region.

Under the theme “Via mosel’ Open Days”, wine estates and cellars from Luxembourg, France and Germany will present their wine-producing properties, with more than twenty participating estates and partner localities offering a wide range of experiences along the Moselle.

According to Via mosel’, the weekend’s programme ranges from open cellars, exhibitions and specialist or architectural tours to premium tastings and numerous highlights. Each estate will showcase its identity, tells its story and illustrate the diversity of wine-related architecture and the art of winemaking in the Greater Region.

Visitors can expect a combination of remarkable architecture, tastings, guided tours and themed walks, accompanied by direct exchanges with winegrowers. At the heart of the event lies the close link between architecture, design and terroir: historic vaulted cellars, contemporary wine libraries, traditional family estates and elegant Art Nouveau villas shape the Moselle landscape, making it a unique cultural region.

Via mosel’ say the result is a rich and varied weekend that will appeal to the curious, lovers of fine food and drink and culture enthusiasts alike. The programme is aimed at wine lovers, architecture enthusiasts, winegrowers as well as private developers seeking inspiration for modern wine-related architecture, traditional construction techniques or the use of sustainable materials.
