Brixembourg Asbl has announced that a new edition of the Brixembourg festival will take place at the Centre Polyvalent Gaston Stein in Junglinster on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026.
Brixembourg 2026, a major exhibition and marketplace for brick-building fans, is returning to Junglinster. The event is organised in partnership with WeThink.
Over the years, the event has become a meeting point for fans of creative brick-building in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. The programme includes exhibitions, activities, collector's items and encounters in a family-oriented atmosphere, according to the organisers.
Visitors will discover numerous exhibitors presenting original creations, detailed models and imaginative builds. From miniature cities, vehicles and architecture to themed worlds and free creations, Brixembourg aims to highlight the diversity and creativity of building with bricks. Many of the displayed models are developed over several months and created with close attention to detail.
In addition to the exhibition, Brixembourg will also feature a large marketplace. Vendors and collectors will present sets, individual parts, figures, rarities and special finds. Collectors will therefore have the opportunity to discover sought-after pieces, expand their collections or simply browse through a varied selection of items.
Families and children are also a key focus of the event, with various activities, animations and surprises on the programme. According to the organisers, Brixembourg aims to be an intergenerational meeting place, open to everyone who enjoys building, observing, discovering and sharing their passion.
One of the highlights of the 2026 edition will be the Voyages Flammang Building Contest. Under the theme of "Travel", the contest will allow creative participants to present their own models. The finalists will be exhibited during Brixembourg and evaluated by visitors and a specialist jury. The main winner will receive a trip worth €800, offered by Voyages Flammang.
An official event magazine will also accompany this year's edition, featuring behind-the-scenes stories, exhibitor profiles, games, puzzles, creative ideas and practical instructions. The magazine will also include a competition with several prizes to be won.
Since its creation, Brixembourg Asbl has pursued the goal of promoting the passion for brick-building in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Born from a shared interest in building, collecting and exhibiting, the initiative has grown over the years into an event that brings enthusiasts together and highlights the creative diversity of the scene.
Admission to Brixembourg 2026 costs €6 for adults and €3 for children. The event will be open on Saturday 6 June from 11:00 to 17:00 and on Sunday 7 June from 10:00 to 16:30.
