The Entente Bartrenger Duerffest has announced that the 31st edition of the "Bartrenger Duerffest" (Bertrange town festival) will take place from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August 2026.
Since 1996, the Bartrenger Duerffest has been one of Luxembourg's summer highlights. For three days, the meadow in the centre of Bertrange will once again become a meeting place for residents, local associations and visitors from across the country. According to the organisers, local clubs will offer a wide range of food and drinks throughout the festival, while live music and entertainment are planned across all three days.
The programme will begin on Friday with an afterwork gathering featuring DJ Schmisi from 17:00, followed by a campfire from 22:00.
On Saturday 8 August, visitors can enjoy a fire engine exhibition from 11:00, face painting for children and adults from 12:00, the traditional "Bartreng werft den Hunn" competitions for junior and senior participants, live music by Just Music from 20:30, a fire show at 21:00, performances by DJ Noper and DJ Gregges from 21:20 and a campfire from 23:00.
The festival will conclude on Sunday with the fire engine exhibition and face painting continuing from midday, a concert-apéro by the Bartrenger Musek at 12:00, a blind beer tasting at 16:00, live music by Nico Romito at 17:00, DJ Humpejang from 20:00 and the traditional group photo at 22:00.
The organisers encourage visitors to use public transport to reach the festival, noting that Bertrange is served by both bus routes and a railway station.
