Luxembourg’s Cluster for Logistics Asbl (C4L) has announced that its “Smart Logistics in Motion” conference will take place at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
The conference will bring together industry leaders, researchers, technology providers and public authorities to explore the next generation of freight mobility. Discussions will focus on autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence-powered operations, smart infrastructure and sustainable urban logistics.
According to C4L, the programme will cover autonomous driving, smart energy, digital solutions and infrastructure for truck parking, sustainable last-mile delivery and city logistics, as well as electrification and hydrogen in the transition towards zero-emission freight transport.
C4L Director Daniel Kohl will deliver the welcome address, followed by a keynote address from Luxembourg’s Minister for the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism, Lex Delles. The programme will also include the Best Students in Logistics Awards.
Other speakers will include Lea Mauer, Project Manager at Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy, Raphael Frank, Professor and Chief Scientist at the University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), Dr Yong Gessner, Vice-President and Head of Europe at Neolix, Philippe Schmit, Director of Operations at SGI Ingénierie, Charles Olinger, Senior Logistics Officer at Schroeder Associés, Rafael Afonso, NEXTLOGIC Project Manager at the University of Luxembourg, and Steve Faltz, Industrial Engineer at the City of Differdange.
The conference will run from 15:30 to 18:00, followed by a networking drink.
