On Friday 11 September 2026, Europa Donna Luxembourg announced that the 2026 edition of the Broschtkriibslaf charity run for breast cancer awareness will take place at 10:15 on Saturday 3 October at Hesperange Park (472 Route de Thionville).
Through this annual solidarity race, Europa Donna Luxembourg aims to raise public awareness about the importance of physical activity in breast cancer prevention and simultaneously launch a fundraising campaign to support affected individuals and their families.
More than 2,500 participants dressed in pink are anticipated to gather in a festive atmosphere in the heart of the “BKL Village” near the Centre Joseph Altmann, and children, pushchairs, wheelchairs, rollators and dogs are welcome.
Everyone is encouraged to move at their own pace along the 5 km route.
The organisers have said a wide range of food provided by Cactus will be available on site. Showers will also be available at the Centre Joseph Altmann.
Registration and practical information are available at broschtkriibslaf.lu.
Europa Donna Luxembourg, a breast cancer association founded in 2002, has become a major player in the fight against breast cancer in Luxembourg, recognised by Luxembourg’s Ministry of Health, health decision-makers, politicians and healthcare professionals.
