St Patrick's Day, celebrated each year on 17 March in honour of Ireland's most prominent patron saint, has become a global celebration that extends well beyond the borders of Ireland.
Luxembourg is no exception. The Grand Duchy boasts an active Irish community, with more than 2,300 Irish nationals registered as of 1 January 2025, according to STATEC. Each year, the community marks Ireland's national day with a variety of cultural, social and sporting events across Luxembourg.

- Feast of St Patrick Mass taking place at Église Saint Pie X in Luxembourg-Belair (112 Avenue Gaston Diderich) on Sunday 15 March at 11:00. Open to all.

- St Patrick's Day Reception hosted by the Embassy of Ireland in Luxembourg at Cercle Cité in Place d'Armes, Luxembourg-Ville, on Tuesday 17 March. Invitation-only. To enter a ticket draw, email EventsLuxembourg@dfa.ie mentioning one's name and "St Patrick's Day Reception" by Thursday 12 March; winners will be notified the following day.
- St Patrick's Day Gala Dinner hosted by the Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL) at Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg City on Tuesday 17 March, starting at 18:30. Dress Code: Semi Formal.
