The Fondation Servais (Servais Foundation) has reported that its jury has published its list of shortlisted works for the 2026 Servais Prize.
The shortlisted works include:
- Ian De Toffoli, Léa ou la Théorie des systèmes complexes. Narrative, published by Actes Sud.
- Tullio Forgiarini, Vandalium. E Stéck a fënnef Akten / Une pièce en cinq actes. Play, published by éditions guy binsfeld.
- Guy Helminger, Gebäude für Breitengrade. Poetry, published by Elif Verlag.
- Nico Helminger, Geckegen Hunneg. Sequences, published by éditions guy binsfeld.
- Amélie Vrla, Enfanter une étoile qui danse. Novel, published by Hydre Éditions.
According to the foundation, the shortlist aims to highlight the quality and diversity of literary production in Luxembourg and to promote authors and their works to the public and the media.
The five nominated publications will be presented at the National Centre for Literature (CNL) on Tuesday 21 April 2026 at 19:30, with the winner of the 2026 Servais Prize to be announced at the end of April.
Since 1992, the Servais Prize has recognised the most significant literary work published during the previous year. It is awarded annually on the recommendation of an independent jury. The Servais Prize is endowed with €7,500.
The jury for the 2026 Servais Prize is chaired by Sébastian Thiltges and is composed of Fabienne Gilbertz, Danielle Igniti, Ludivine Jehin, Henning Marmulla, Diane Neises, Jérôme Netgen, Aimée Schultz and Tamara Sondag.
