Luxembourg’s Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in the prices of 95 and 98 octane petrol, while all other fuel prices remain unchanged.
As of Friday 18 September 2026, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has decreased by 4.9 cents to €1.849 per litre, while unleaded 98 octane petrol has fallen by 5.3 cents to €2.075 per litre (including VAT). The price of diesel remains at €2.160 per litre (including VAT).
The cost of heating oil also remains stable at €1.642 per litre, with prices for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use unchanged at €1.765 and €1.612 per litre respectively.
