On Thursday 3 July 2025, Chronicle.lu attended the opening of a new exhibition titled “Land in Motion: Transforming People and Nature” at the Musée national d'archéologie, d'histoire et d'art (MNAHA) in Luxembourg-Ville.

The opening of the exhibition featured a guided tour by curator Isabelle Maas, who provided information on the wide range of objects from archaeology, history and art which are on display and how these were organised around specific themes - Forests, Rivers, Agriculture and Industry - allowing the public to experience the complex and dynamic relationship which has existed between humans and nature across the centuries.

The exhibition also features a special itinerary designed for children, making it a family-friendly experience. Younger visitors are guided through the museum with fun and interactive stops featuring age-appropriate questions, allowing them to engage with each topic in entertaining and curious ways.

The exhibition also includes several children’s stories, created specifically for the exhibition by Luxembourgish artist Marc Weydert, which are available in four languages (English, French, German and Luxembourgish).

The museum will open the exhibition to the public from Friday 4 July 2025 until Sunday 11 January 2026, and it will be accompanied by a programme of talks, workshops and other events throughout its duration.

Admission to the exhibition is free.
