On Thursday 25 June 2026, Luxembourg's Joint Social Security Centre (Centre commun de la sécurité sociale - CCSS) published its 2025 annual report, highlighting increased activity, organisational changes and the implementation of major digitalisation projects.
According to the CCSS, social security contributions reached €8.77 billion in 2025, representing an increase of 6.7%compared with the previous year. The number of monthly account statements sent through MyGuichet.lu rose by 27.5%to 9,668, while the number of voluntarily insured persons increased by 8.5% to 23,708.
The report also recorded 10.19 million salary declarations, up 5.0% year-on-year, and 509,072 employees registered with the CCSS, an increase of 1.0% compared with 2024.
Among the year's key developments was the launch of the business eSpace on MyGuichet.lu, which provides employers with online access to essential information, simplifies administrative procedures and aims to improve the quality of data submitted to the CCSS.
The report also outlines several internal organisational changes. The former “Service salaries” has been divided into separate national and international units to better respond to different employment situations, while the “Service recouvrement judiciaire” has been renamed the “Service contentieux”, with a continued focus on handling complex cases.
In addition, the CCSS introduced a redesigned account statement intended to improve readability and understanding for users, as well as strengthened IT governance and ongoing digital projects.
