The University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) has announced that from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 September 2026, around 2,000 psychology researchers will gather in European Convention Center Luxembourg (ECCL) for the Congress of the German Psychological Society (DGPs).

Organised by the DGPs and the Uni.lu, the congress will focus on how psychological research can contribute to addressing current societal challenges, including mental health, digital transformation and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the psychological dimensions of the climate crisis.

According to the organisers, multiple crises, rapid technological developments and the consequences of climate change are changing how people live, work and make decisions, as well as how they perceive their future. The conference will examine how psychological research can provide insights into how people cope with such changes and how this knowledge can contribute to societal and political decision-making.
