The firm Linklaters LLP Luxembourg has announced the appointment of Silke Bernard as a partner as of 1 May 2016.
A lawyer admitted to the bars of Luxembourg and Berlin (Germany) and who began her career at Linklaters LLP Luxembourg in 2004, Silke is a pillar of the Investment Management Group at Linklaters LLP Luxembourg. Her experience and versatility allow her to cover all the legal aspects related to the structuring and operation of investment funds and more generally to collective management.
Silke is a recognised expert in retail funds, alternative funds and pension funds. She also covers the legal aspects of cross-border activity of financial services and investment in all structures and capital management.
Silke is a member of numerous advisory committees within the industry of collective management, in both Luxembourg and outside Luxembourg. She chairs the ALFI working group dealing with "long-term investment funds (ELTIFs)." Silke regularly engages in many economic missions of the collective management industry abroad, as well as as a speaker at seminars organised by the industry.
