On Sunday 16 November 2025, the winners of the singles competition were determined at the tenth edition of the FLT Masters by Cardif Lux Vie, held at the Centre National de Tennis (CNT) in Esch-sur-Alzette.
In both the women’s and men’s singles, the champions claimed the title for the first time. In the women’s draw, the final featured 29-year-old Laura Correia, who faced the 2023 champion Lucie Rabiot. Both players came through demanding semi-finals: Correia defeated Onalee Wagner 6-2, 3-6, 6-2, whilst Rabiot overcame 17-year-old Leila Fabbri 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
In the final, two sets were enough to decide the winner, with Laura Correia prevailing 6-4, 6-4 to secure her first FLT Masters title. Following her victory, she expressed her satisfaction, saying: “I'm super happy and very proud of myself. I’ve wanted to win this tournament for a long time and had never managed it before. This was my first semi-final and first final, so I’m really pleased.” She added that her season continues immediately: “I have another match tomorrow [Monday 17 November 2025], as I unexpectedly won my first-round encounter at the Petange tournament this morning. My next goal is to keep competing a bit more than in recent years and see what I can achieve from here.”
In the men’s competition, Luxembourg national team player Alex Knaff was competing at the FLT Masters for the second time, meeting his national teammate Raphaël Calzi in this year’s final. The opening phase of the first set initially went in Raphaël Calzi’s favour, as he broke Alex Knaff’s serve and held his own to move 2-0 ahead. However, the top seed quickly shifted the momentum, winning the next four games to take a 4-2 lead. Knaff maintained control for the remainder of the set, closing it out 6-3.
Reflecting on the opening set, Alex Knaff told Chronicle.lu: “It didn’t start well, maybe I was a bit too relaxed and tried to do too much with the ball, while he was playing at a good level. He stayed consistent, attacking and playing freely. It was 50/50 for a while, a pretty physical match, but I knew that if I kept the physicality high, I could crack him, and that’s what happened.”
In the second set, Alex Knaff completed the job convincingly. After racing to a 4-0 lead, he allowed Raphaël Calzi just two games before closing out the set 6-2 to secure the title.
Reflecting on his participation in the tournament, Knaff noted: “This is the first time in ten years that I’m playing here. I played the first edition, and this is the tenth, so it’s my first time back in a decade. I like playing at home, it’s important for me to compete in front of my family, and it’s a big event in Luxembourg. I’ve never won this, so it’s nice to have my name on the wall for Luxembourg history. It was an important win for me and a really cool moment.” He added: “I’m going to Athens in a week for a Challenger and then preseason to prepare for Davis Cup [against Ukraine in February 2026].”
In the doubles finals held on Saturday 15 November 2025, Gilles Kremer and Luc Morel claimed the men’s title, defeating Charles Berna and Noé Plique 6-3, 4-6, 10-4. In the women’s doubles, Tatiana Silbereisen and Onalee Wagner secured victory against Laura Correia and Anne De Bourcy, winning 7-5, 6-3.
